Making Sense of Inflammation

Exponential Biotherapies, Inc.   ("EBI") is a Virginia based drug discovery and development company with a growing pipeline of novel small molecule drugs to treat a wide range of severe inflammatory disorders such as acute kidney injury, septic shock, radiation sickness and avian influenza infections. Our compounds represent a new class of immune regulating therapeutic agents. In May 2009, the Company's first candidate drug, EA-230, entered a Phase 2 clinical trial following a successful Phase 1 study in which the drug was safely tolerated following both single and multiple doses. The Phase 2 will evaluate safety, tolerability and the efficacy of EA-230 in attenuating severe kidney damage for patients undergoing on-pump cardiovascular surgery.
